Faith Formation
Faith formation is an important part of the ministry of Shalom. We provide faith formation for all ages on Sunday morning and for youth on Wednesday evening. In addition, we offer catechism classes for high school aged youth interested in baptism and church membership and membership classes for adults interested in membership at Shalom.
Children’s & Youth Sunday School
Sunday School for children and junior highers begins with a time of singing in the basement at 9:30 each week. Following the singing time, children split up into age group classes which can be found here:
Pre-Kindergarten—main level rooms 1 & 2
Kindergarten & Grade 1—basement room 7
Grades 2 & 3—basement room 5
Grades 4 & 5—basement room 8
Grades 6 – 8—basement room 9/10
High School—upper level
Adult Sunday School
Three adult options are available during the Sunday School hour at Shalom. Our Fall 2016 Schedule is as follows:
Open Forum (Gathering Space):

Bible Study (Library):
The Bible Study Group is following the International Uniform Series. The September/October/November quarter addresses the theme of Faith in Action: Living in the Light of God’s Sovereignty. Lessons are based on texts from Isaiah, Hebrews, and Revelation.
Coffee Klatch (Fellowship Hall):
Join other adults for a Fellowship Time. Coffee & tea are provided. Pre-Sunday School age children welcome!
In addition to our three regularly scheduled classes, Shalom often offers six-week topical studies for adults. The Adult Education Ministry Team is always looking for folks with interest in leading a topical study. Contact Ken Gaeddert, Dick Rempel, or Stan Smucker with interest.
